3Dfx Graphic accelerators have been supported in Linux for a few years. Without the effort of Daryll Strauss the 3Dfx drivers would not exist. Thanks to Brian Paul for Mesa, an open source OpenGL implementation, and to David Bucciarelli who wrote fxmesa, the glue between Mesa and Glide.
I have been using 3Dfx on Linux since I bought my Voodoo2. At first I used the Voodoo1 drivers with a hack to make it work on the V2. When the V2 drivers came out, I bought a second V2 to SLI them. I am still running them in my old machine. My new machine has a V3-3000, running Redhat 6.0.
I haven't mentioned glquake or the 3Dfx Rush. If you have a page that deals directly with these topics email me and I will link them in.
