RMS (or Richard Stallman as he is sometimes known) is giving a lecture on the
Truman campus. From http://www.stallman.org :
"Richard Stallman is the founder of the Gnu Project, launched in 1984 to
develop the free operating system GNU (an acronym for ``GNU's Not Unix''),
and thereby give computer users the freedom that most of them have lost. GNU
is free software: everyone is free to copy it and redistribute it, as well as
to make changes either large or small. "

The date is Friday October 3rd, 4:00-7:00pm in Violette Hall 1000 (the large
classroom in the middle of the building.) You are all invited.

For directions on getting to Kirksville (summary: go 1 and 1/2 hours north on
63) and a link to the campus map:

Hope to see some of you there,
Ian Monroe
