[MLUG - ANNOUNCEMENT] Next MLUG Meeting 10/29/03

The goal for the next MLUG meeting is to vote finalizing the
constitution/bylaws and take nominations for our initial Vice President,
Secretary, and Treasurer.  Ryan Davis has been compiling relevant
information, including an agenda, for the next meeting -- see
http://mlug.missouri.edu/~ryan/

Anyone interested in being an officer should have look at
http://mlug.missouri.edu/~adam/draft-constitution/ to make sure they are
qualified -- basically you need to be an MU student enrolled for 6 hours
with a 2.0 GPA or higher.  The initial officers will work together to push
MLUG through the recognition process, incorporating any changes to the
constitution/bylaws that MSA asks for, and then serve until we have our
first normal officer election.
