SQL Databases
Jay Buffington will be covering a variety of topics relating to SQL
databases. He will use two real world examples for his demonstration.
The first, an Oracle database, is used at the University to track all
SSO (single sign on) accounts that are used on the new showme
replacment Bengal. The second example, in mySQL, is used in a photo
sharing web application. This presentation will cover pros and cons of
database APIs. I promise it won't be as boring as it sounds. Even if
you don't understand a word I just said I promise you'll get something
out of this presentation.
