[MLUG - ANNOUNCEMENT] GeekFest / Installathon - Saturday, April 22nd

Official Announcement:
On Saturday, April 22nd from 4:30pm - 11:00pm the Mizzou Linux Users
Group will be hosting GeekFest 2k / Installathon in Memorial Union on
the University of Missouri Campus.  In this geek-get-together we plan to
help new users install linux and other open source software, play some
quake, watch some geeky movies and do other geek related things.  This
event will serve as a fund raiser for MLUG to pay for our new server. 
Come hang out with us, it'll be fun!

What to bring:
You're box and monitor.

What we'll have:
Cool software to give away - Corel Linux WordPerfect 2000
Distributions to install on your machine - SuSe, Red Hat, Debian,
Mandrake - heck, even freeBSD
Network connections - We'll do network installs mostly if possible


On an Admin note:
Sorry about it being so late in the day.  At the meeting last night we
discussed that we would like to start around noon.  This was not
possible because of room reservations.  I plan to be hanging signs up
all over campus this afternoon.  If you'd like to give me a hand give me
