It looks like Hardy will come with Firefox 3... are they shipping it with a beta or will Firefox 3 be released before the 24th?  I'm confused why an LTS release would have a beta-version of Firefox!

I'm excited about the changes to X.org configuration.  They are claiming that laptops and projectors will get along nicer now.  I didn't have any trouble with my last laptop (with an ATI video card) but my current laptop's Intel chipset doesn't work very well with some projectors (as my students will attest).  Can't wait to see if X.org has fixed the problem!

It comes out on April 24, but the beta is out now.  "Hardy is what is known as an LTS (long-term support) release, meaning that patches and paid support will be available for at least three years after the release."
