As I say, he's cherry-picking -- in other words mostly picking games

I'm [not] calling anyone a liar. The author of the article admits that
it is biased and unscientific. The fact that this comparison is even
possible says a lot against Vista, though. (and a lot for wine!)
You are correct, but unfortunately we can't tell to what degree he was
cherry picking because he doesn't tell us what he left off.
He said that he was noticing that a bunch of his games written for XP
wouldn't run under Vista, but they did run under Linux with Wine. He gave
a list of those. It would have been even more interesting to see his
other games and how they did with Vista and Wine, but he is trying to
focus on the fact that Linux/Wine sometimes does better with XP games than
Vista does. It is interesting that Linux/Wine sometimes does better than
Vista. So XP users who own games and are now stuck with Vista should give
Linux and Wine a try.
