Need to get a WEP access point going so they can reach the internet. WPA support is "coming soon". Besides that they are very cool. The keyboard is tiny and difficult for me to type on but that was completely expected.

Nice. Congratulations. I've been trying to get one but it is slow working through a bureaucracy. I'll keep pushing for it. If our accounting staff can't deal with it (some think it might be partly a charitable contribution which is something we can't do with our funds), I might just buy one with my own money. It is a pretty cool thing.

Questions:

Does it come with the hand-crank tool for charging the device? I thought that was way cool and it would be amazing for camping and such.

It does have USB, right? Do USB flash drives work easily?

Is there any way to play movies on it? e.g., by ripping a DVD to a USB flash drive? (There's probably something "illegal" about doing that, but if I have possession of the DVD while using the ripped video file, and I don't store the file for later use or sell the file or transmit it to anyone, how can that be wrong?)

Do the speakers sound OK? (I am assuming that there are speakers.)

Mike
