The hardware is really what I want - something that can connect to a cell network and give GPS coordinates. Has Google made such hardware available yet?
The Google Android platform is also a Linux OS, I believe, and they have a
contest now where you could win some serious money if you come up with
something great. That wouldn't stop you from keeping it FOSS and running
it on OpenMoko.
