So, I've been fighting with getting some perl I wrote compiled into an
executable so that I could distribute it machines that didn't have perl
actually installed.
Went thru the gamut with perl2exe, which we'd purchased a while back and
had worked for me in the past.
After not having much luck with perl2exe, I dig around a bit and find
PAR and App::Packager, also very nifty looking, a bit of a pain to
actually use.
Then I run across a post that mentions Cava Packager
(http://www.cava.co.uk/). Am I just not paying attention, or does no one
really know about this one? It installs in about 10 seconds, and will
output either an Inno setup.exe or a redistributable zip package. Seems
to be a very slick package.
Why isn't this thing better known?

so lemme see, if I download MP3s the RIAA hates me, if I dub a movie off
HBO the MPAA hates me, if I skip commercials the TV execs hate me...
am I allowed to store leftover pizza in the fridge and eat it the next
day, or will Pizza Hut sue me?
