Compare thiw with the hobby of making furniture or playing a musical

I made $600.00 from playing Everquest and $300.oo from playing Ultima
Online.
How much were you making per hour?
I know there are people out there paying a lot more than this for
characters and items in these games. Now I am not sure how lucrative the
market is in Eve, I never played it, but I have some friends that have.
So maybe the argument about an Eve-world $30 billion being worth a
real-world $16,500 was based on what could be sold to other players. If
so, I would obviously have to retract what I wrote earlier about cost and
value. Of course this would lead to the obvious question of how many
man-hours were expended to earn the $16,500.
