Hello All. My name is Sean. I recently moved here from St. Louis to
attend graduate school.
On a related note, I volunteer for a non-profit in St. Louis called
ByteWORKS (http://bworks.org/). We refurbish or rebuild used computers,
install Linux on them, teach kids how to use them, and after a set
amount of classes, give the computers to the children.
I've wanted to start something like this in Columbia, but I'm not sure
if I'll have the time. But if anyone else does something like this or
has questions about the process, feel free to ask me, send an email to
EMAIL:PROTECTED or get on the CWELUG (http://cwelug.org) mailing list.
A bunch of us on ByteWORKS are on that list.
Cheers,
Sean
