Pulled the windows and linux demo but have only tried the windows one so

Try Battlefield 2 or Battlefield 2142, those games do get a definite boost from the 64 bit architecture even though they are 32 bit games.

the two games i had sluggish performance under 64-bit were fps's.
battlefield 1942 and battlefield vietnam.
both run faster at higher resolutions on my nvidia 5500. they
generally perform better under straight 32-bit windows.
