Ah; good point. We were planning on 1 GB, which should be fine for
Linux plus 256MB for the video card, right?

I'd be interested, for sure. Anyway, I took a chance on a cheaper PS
today when I bought the case. The guy at Microcenter seemed to know
what he was doing, so I went with his suggestion on it (possible
famous last words, I know). As it happens, I can get the mobo from
Amazon for just about the minimum price.

I think I should look a bit more carefully at the optical drive
situation; some of those could be not so nice, I suppose. With luck,
though we build two weeks from today.
