I agree with Bryan that you would do well to ask us specific questions.  
While I am certainly no expert on xorg.conf, I have found google to be 
an invaluable recourse in answering specific questions.  The thing I 
have had most trouble with is "Modeline" for difficult monitors, and 
google is fantastic for this kind of issue.
