i think i could do 'mdadm --grow -c 128' but, i don't know for sure. i
can't seem to find anything via google about changing chunk-size on an
active array...

i have one spare at home. the case only has enough room for the 4
drives i have in stalled. i have a single 120gig drive running the os
and the 80gig raid5 for /home.

that's a good price...i may pick up another.

--chunk=128 seems to be a command that issued at creation time...
Just 160 Gb, have a spare drive laying around for a rebuild? Or for
50$ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822152020
Then use it as a backup solution... ;)

Hope this helps,

George
