According to section 5 (Resolution) of this page:
http://sunsolve.sun.com/search/document.do?assetkey=1-26-102775-1
You need these two patches for Solaris 8 on SPARC:
http://sunsolve.sun.com/search/document.do?assetkey=urn:cds:docid:1-21-109809-06-1
http://sunsolve.sun.com/search/document.do?assetkey=urn:cds:docid:1-21-108993-52-1
You have to register for a SunSolve account to get them, but you don't
need a support contract.

One of our IT guys tells me he has heard that Sun is not giving free
patches for this. He's checking on University site licenses.
Thanks a lot, Sun! :-(
If anyone knows how this is handled by hand, let me know.
Apparently I can change the Time Zone and DST by hand, probably in...
/etc/default/init
...but I'm not sure what to do after that.
I would think that this will only be a problem this weekend and then twice
in the Fall because if it tries to change on April 1, it won't matter
because it is already changed. My understanding is that it changes
zone/DST settings only and leaves the system clock alone (which is set by
ntpdate to have the correct UTC).
