I have php 5.1.5 compiled from source on our Red Hat server.Â Phpinfo() shows â--with-gd=sharedâ but Drupal is telling me gd isnât installed.Â I have a feeling it might have something to do with gd being installed as an rpm.Â I have these 2 packages installed:

php-gd-4.3.9-3.18

gd-2.0.28-4.4E.1

Iâm assuming the first one is obsolete since I have php 5 and it is not an rpm.Â There exists a /usr/include/php/ext/gd dir with various header files, etc.Â Any ideas?
