What is the motherboard in that Celeron Server. I've got a 666 PIII (slot
A) on a mobo with a bad northbridge. Can that mobo run up to a slot A PIII.
The mobo itself is still stable enough to run Linux, as it was just
temporarily in my Linux file server while I was waiting for its mobo
replacement to arrive, but it struggles with Win 2003 . As such, I haven't
had a dhcp server in my house for a few months (before the flames begin, I
simply prefer the windows DHCP server over linux's), and I hate running DHCP
on my router... not robust enough!

Thanks
Adam

Subject: [MLUG] Computer stuff for sale

Ok, time to junk some stuff ;) Well, not junk, since it's not junky
stuff. But, I have lowered prices on some stuff I was trying to sell
previously.

$30 for a case, Socket 478 motherboard, TNT2 AGP Video card (got a 3dfx
card as well). NO power supply. Includes a DVD-ROM/CDBurner, floppy
disk. Does include any cables you could want. The motherboard has
built-in ethernet, sound, etc. Model is an ECS L4VXA2:

http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Products/ProductsDetail.aspx?detailid=44&DetailName=Specification&MenuID=1&LanID=9

Second thing up for sale:
Dual 366 Celeron Server. Has at least 200MB Ram (not sure without
starting it up, but I think I've also got a 256MB chip I can put in. It
has an SBLive sound card, TNT2 Video card, generic Kingston network card,
USB, CD, Floppy, 30GB Harddrive, etc. I'm asking $40/obo - although the
parts alone are worth that. (note, no keyboard, monitor, etc.)

Someone, make an offer. The celeron box made a great Linux system - used
it as a router for a LONG time. Course, I did have a 80gb HD in it at
that point (it's got a HighPoint IDE card, I can get more details later if
needed).

Aside from the above, got a number of parts and pieces of computer
equipment for sale, such as video cards, all kinds of cables, adapters,
screws, etc. etc. In other words, I'm cleaing out the junk, giving this
stuff away. All ya have to do is come pick it up.

Thanks!
Jason
