I wish I could help more. I have not read any of these, in fact I have not read anything on Ruby. I know some of the developers I work with absolutely love it and I have seen that O'Reilly book floating around the office, if that is worth anything.

The CBRI director told me that he likes it a lot better than PHP because he finds that it is much easier to read and understand the Ruby/Rails written by others than PHP written by others. It sounds like the Ruby/Rails approach tends to be more consistent and neatly organized.

MY previous observation was strictly one of judging a book by its cover, or publisher as the case may be.

That's what I was doing too, but in a more humorous way. ;-)
