Does anyone here use Eclipse? I just downloaded the PDT and it looks pretty
good. I've been using jEdit for awhile but want to move to a better
development tool. I'm worried about Dreamweaver because of web standards
(XHTML strict, accessibility), and DW has a history of inserting a lot of
ugly code that doesn't validate. I hear Nvu works well, too. What's your
tool of choice and why?
I've played with it a little at work for Java and it is pretty nice.
But mostly I stick with vi for everything I do.
I do mostly web development on Windows/Linux: PHP, XHTML and CSS, but will
also be developing with PeopleCode, Oracle, etc. in the near future.
The nice thing about Eclipse is it supports plugins. So it is pretty
adaptable as you change your development framework.
