Just use the Apache tools. (This is for RHEL4, but should work for FCx as well)

  wget http://apache.webthing.com/mod_proxy_html/mod_proxy_html.c
  apxs -i -a -c -I/usr/include/libxml2 mod_proxy_html.c

Check your Apache config(s), restart... and magic!
