I've started getting into using it as well. So far I think it's really
nice. 

A few good client tools that I'd highly recommend if you haven't seen
already:
Subclipse - http://subclipse.tigris.org/ - Integration of Subversion
into Eclipse
TortoiseSVN - http://tortoisesvn.net/ - Integration of Subversion into
Windows Explorer
