Jason
I used SVN at my last job and at this one. (I'm working for myself,
from home). I'm not sure how it compares with CVS, but either one is
a far sight better than what I was doing before, which was a directory
of date-coded tarballs.
At Home Movie Depot, I set it up with a viewVC front-end for seeing
source changes and Bugzilla for tracking bugs, and a wiki for
miscellaneous company knowledge. (Now, it looks like Trac combines
these three things.) HTTP-based browsing and diff'ing is a really
easy way to see who's working on what in a multi-user environment.
Regards,
Mark
