Home | FAQ | Server | Presentations | Mailing Lists/Archives | Member Tools | Links | Sponsors | ContactOK, two things I'd love to get some advice on ;) First, a nice, web based file management system. Specifically, one that DOES support either XML-RPC calls or something similar, database back-end, multi-user support, etc. I could probably write my own pretty quickly, but I'd rather not have to maintain yet another application. Basically, I'm wanting something that I can use from my main application to store data files that my users will choose to upload/download/delete. I'm not terribly worried about revision histories (although that might be handy), but permissions will probably be an issue. I've thought about using a CMS like Mambo, but that seemed wayyy overkill for what I'm needing. Anyone have any suggestions on such an application? Second, I'm looking for a simple web help system that supports URL's. Specifically, something that gives me a windows like help system, but in a web interface, where I can toss it a URL to do either a search or look at a specific help file, and make changes to said help files if the user is an "admin". I'm figuring I'll probably end up creating it myself, but if someone had seen/created something like this already, it would save me some work :) Thanks for any thoughts/advice!
