I'll comment but I don't know if I have a great answer.  I have a 600 and 
I'm sticking with it for now.  I think switching decisions are pretty 
individual and depend on how you use the device, where you live, etc. 
The 700p is definitely a decent step up in several ways.  One major change 
is that it will allow you to use EvDo for higher speed connection.  This 
can also be used to give your laptop a nice connection through your cell 
phone.  I would want more info on costs and availability.  Is the service 
working in your area?  Do you travel a lot?

I'd love to get the 700p but I've decided to wait a while and see what 
happens in the next year or so.  My 600 still works great for me.  It 
basically does what I need.  The 700p doesn't do WiFi, but I'll bet the 
next one (800p or whatever) will do WiFi.  I'm looking forward to that.
