Just long enough to put the disks for it in a safe spot; been there
before.  Is it possible XP  might be able to do an in place upgrade?  Or
is the format truly a linux swap file system?  Never tried to recover
from something like that before, just a Reiser FS upgrade that ate my
SUSE installation.  Btw, I agree with you about YAST, it stinks.  Good
