Yep. I used BartPE and it worked fine.
The trick was to figure out the proper command for deleting everything. I
figured out that this gave me the answer:
del /?
It had been a while since I used DOS. The relevant arguments were these:
/F Force deleting of read-only files.
/S Delete specified files from all subdirectories.
/Q Quiet mode, do not ask if ok to delete on global wildcard
I think that was all. Anyway, it worked great. Once I cleared Windows
away, I installed the Ecuadorian Spanish WinXP Pro. I was in Ecuador when
I did this.
