On closer inspection, this appears to be a digital LCD. (The
manufacturer's page was 100% Flash, so I had to fire up 32-bit Firefox +
Flash as 64-bit Konqueror just showed nothing :( ) The reviews on Newegg
for this model are very good. You should be in great shape using that
DVI connection.
Apparently the "digital analog" was due to the digital DVI-I and analof
RGB ports. It's a digital monitor as far as I can tell. Sorry for my
gaffe!
Right. OK. Well, thanks for trying to help and for getting back to me
quickly. I feel more confident now about making that order. There were
some reviews that suggested there were some shortcomings of this monitor,
but the reviewers were not clear on if they were using DVI or VGA inputs.
You had me really worried there for a minute.
Here's something I learned: PCConnection was great about canceling the
order. No questions. They had to call the loading dock to stop it, but
they did it immediately.
Now I'm submitting a new order.
