If their power can be messy, I'd really consider adding a cheapish UPS
(a pain to cart there though) as that would get the computer a nice
clean power supply and probably extend its life significantly.
Also try and ensure it gets set up with a limited user account for them
to use and an administrator account for installing software - explain
the difference and the reason never to use the admin account unless
they're installing something!
