I didn't have an old Mac. I downloaded it off the Internet within the
past month or so I've had the Mac. Off hand I don't remember where but
I'm sure I just Googled for 'internet explorer MacOS' or something
similar. IE sucks but I still see a lot of visitors to my websites using
it on both Mac and Windows.

INTERNET EXPLORER FOR MAC NO LONGER AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD
In June 2003, the Microsoft Macintosh Business Unit announced that
Internet Explorer for Mac would undergo no further development, and
support would cease in 2005. In accordance with published support
lifecycle policies, Microsoft ended support for Internet Explorer for
Mac on December 31st, 2005, and is not providing any further security
or performance updates.
Accordingly, as of January 31st, 2006, Internet Explorer for the Mac
is no longer available for download from Microsoft. It is recommended
that Macintosh users migrate to more recent web browsing technologies
such as Apple's Safari.

You must have transfered it from your old Mac via firewire during
install... And take a look at your Activity Monitor I'll bet it is a
PowerPC process using Rosetta...
I was wrong in saying "can't" I should have said: Any modern Mac that
attempts to run IE will see a performance hit and won't ever see a
universal binary.
The IE is dead, long live FireFox!
:)

Unfortunately not. I have a top of the line iMac duo core and IE5
still runs on it. Darn them!
Any "modern" Mac user can't use IE anymore... ;)
Apple fixed that bug on the intel based hardware... Via their new
universal binaries. MS won't / hasn't made a version of IE for the
intel based hardware...

Be warned that quite a number of Mac users are some sort of morons
who are still using Internet Explorer. Why? I have no idea since
Safari, Firefox, and Opera all work much better.
The complaint was that the home page was garbled. The footer text was
overlaying the heroshot, that kind of thing.
I made some changes so hopefully that took care of it.
Thanks

No problems sticking out? What was the complaint?
