Yep, and there is an update like that about once a week.
Apparently it is not necessary to update so often, or maybe it isn't
necessary to reboot when you update. We know this because many of us run
Linux for 6 months or a year at a stretch without rebooting.
It might be that the HAL developers are very active and they are making
many small improvements in the HAL, but unless you are having problems
with stability or security, you don't have to update the HAL. That's my
best guess. I would update the HAL once every several months unless they
suggested that a new update was important.
