Just to make sure I wasn't seeing things I ran the "Package Updater"
on a fedora install I use at work and right now I have this package
that ask for a reboot (just asks, isnt required).
hal - 0.5.7-3.fc5.2.i386 updates hal - 0.5.7-3.fc5.1.i386
hal-gnome - 0.5.7-3.fc5.2.i386 updates hal-gnome - 0.5.7-3.fc5.1.i386

I am guessing this *could* be done with out a reboot but that's not
what the OS suggest.
