So what version of Firefox does it use?
It's 1.5.0.3 (more digits than I expected).
People were talking about 1.07 and 1.08, but I followed instructions to
get 1.5 up, and the Bon Echo alphas are actually phenomenally good so
far. By the time they get past alpha 4 or alpha 5, I'm probably going to
bag out on Safari since the speed difference is so large, and most of
the newer toys (e.g., Google spreadsheets, calendar and some features of
gmail) don't work well or at all under Safari.
Interesting. I don't use a Mac, so I don't have Safari. I guess the
Google team is focusing more on Firefox. They hired the main Firefox
developer a year and a half ago:
