I have a hunch that the previous version was more robust than this one in that way, so I also wouldn't be surprised to see a bugfix of this out soon to fix the issues you report. So what version of Firefox does it use? People were talking about 1.07 and 1.08, but I followed instructions to get 1.5 up, and the Bon Echo alphas are actually phenomenally good so far. By the time they get past alpha 4 or alpha 5, I'm probably going to bag out on Safari since the speed difference is so large, and most of the newer toys (e.g., Google spreadsheets, calendar and some features of gmail) don't work well or at all under Safari.
