I've got one of the newer dual core CPU's with the VT instructions (I noticed, b/c of 1MB cache per processor, not HT, etc.). I'm trying to figure out how to get gentoo to compile Xen now with the VMX or whatever instructions! If you look at the xen docs: The biggest problem I see is on gentoo, the file /usr/lib/xen/boot/vmxloader doesn't exist. NOW, I'm not sure if I was just missing some libraries when xen was built? Or, if the hvmloader is what's supposed to be used? I'm at a loss, as I don't see a configure file in the xen source where I could say "load VT extensions" or anything similar. Suggestions? Thanks!
