The last time I came across this situation, I went out and created a
bunch of lists with Yahoo! Groups. No, really. If the discussion is
ultra-proprietary super-secret I can see why one would host it
themselves but otherwise why not let someone else do it for you? In my
opinion, too many people - especially tech/computer types - fall prey to
the "not invented here" syndrome.
