SO does anyone have a strong opinion on Apple Lossless Encoding? I drank
the Apple kool-aid and ripped all my CDs with it, and am in the process
of paying iTunes $1 for singles I have on MP3 I downloaded in college or
$5-$6 for the used CD when there are enough songs I like.
An audiophile I'm not - I just really like having perfect ID tags, album
art, lyrics, and a lossless file to go from (no half songs and annoying
noise).
I don't have an answer, but I would like to know how big those files are.
Lossless encoding seems to imply big files.
