That is a very significant development. Even if it is only IBM in Europe
that has dropped Microsoft for the desktop in favor of Linux, that still
gives a major corporation one more reason to help make Linux a viable
desktop option. I think it's probably already a workable small-business
solution. Open Office seems to be working quite well these days.
