nano is a good editor.
I'm stumped.
In the script, try replacing /var/ftp/files with /var/ftp/files/ (note
trailing slash).
Try replacing /var/ftp/files with some directory in your home
directory. maybe it's a problem with /var. I'm grasping at straws
now.
