It that doesn't work you can always just add  the lines:

LoadModule php5_module        modules/libphp5.so
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php

somewhere in your main apache conf.  Make sure you have libphp5.so
 though.

The machine is behind Tigernet 2 on campus, so I am stuck with working on it during 8 - 5.
