Interesting.  That command should scan and give you a list of AP's in
your area.  This is a way to tell if your driver is working or not.  You
might have to do a ndiswrapper -m command and then make sure wlan0 is
setup via your network setup then reboot.  You might also might want to
try to set each option ESSID, enc, ect separately with ESSID first and
check after each one with iwconfig to see if it worked.  If each one
worked then after the last one you will see the MAC address of the AP in
iwconfig.  Then you can do a dhclient wlan0 to get an ip.  Hope this
