I could never get kwifi to recognize the card.
I'll try ndiswrapper again and give a more detailed report soon with
errors and such.

I'm running a Linksys PCMCIA B/G card (can't give ya the model number 
for sure as I'm too lazy to remove it to check - but I think its 
something like WPC54G). I am on Debian Linux with ndiswrapper and 
wpa_supplicant for wpa support and having no problems.

Perhaps you can give us a better idea of the problems you are running 
into so we can provide some direction?
