- Thread-topic: Wireless NIC on SuSE 10
I have been having lots of issues getting wireless up and running on my
home system.
I dual boot between Win XP pro, and SuSE 10. I have tried the Linksys 54
G cards, and the Netgear WAG311v3 card. I have used Driverloader, NDIS
wrappers, MadWiFi, and nothing seems to be able to give me the stability
that I am looking for. The latest endeavor was with the netgear. It
totally locked up the machine.
I am thinking about looking for a new card that will be compatible with
my system w/o costing an arm and a leg.
I connect to a Linksys WRT54g router running the hyperwrt firmware. I am
running in the mixed mode environment, using 128 bit WEP encryption.
Any ideas?
Thanks
