Lots of key drives need drivers to run under Win98. Visit the support
site of whatever company manufactured the drive and download the
appropriate driver. Also, make sure that the machine has been patched
with all the Win 98 USB update stuff.

A lot of good ideas here.. I just got a USB flash drive for Christmas

(actualy, i have to return it and get another - my 3 main computers
don't recognize it when I stick it into windows boxes)
My wife told me that hers is recognized by WinXP just fine but when
she puts it in the USB drive on a Win98 machine, nothing happens.
Does anyone know a way to use the USB stick with Win98?
