Hi,
I wrote a little utility to control the Microchip PICkit 2 programmer.
It is a little, cheap, USB-powered microcontroller programmer.
Microchip released the source code for it. A fun toy for any hardware
geek.
Anyhow, there's a Mac user who's been trying to get it working, and he
doesn't appear to have any of the development tools set up (and
fink's not working for him). I just need to compile one shared
library, a SWIG-generated Python wrapper of libusb. The rest of my
program is in Python. This library won't need to be recompiled unless
libusb undergoes a major API change, so I just need help this once.
The tarball is attached to this message:
http://groups.google.com/group/pickit-devel/msg/1ebf4dacf170d6d7
and I just need the .so (is that what Mac calls it?) generated by
"build.sh" in the "usb" subdirectory.
Can anybody help me out? I know we've got some Mac users on this list.
Regards,
Mark
