OK, so I just had to set up a computer to work with Tigernet1X under
Mac OS X and had an odd situation occur.

The on-line instructions for this went fine, but then when I tried to
connect, the Mac (Keychain Access) complained about the trust settings
on a root certificate, but not the one I had just imported. After
futzing around, I just deleted all of the root certificates I had,
re-imported, and it all worked fine.

One of the problematic ones was something like radius-eap, and another
was University of Missouri CA. (Yes, I should have copied this down
before I deleted them, but...) In any case, the connection seems to
be working fine now (and it wasn't before) so I'm guessing that these
were obsolete or useless certificates from the pre TigerNet1x age.

Am I wrong? Do I need any certificates beyond the University of
Missouri Root Authority?

Sorry that this isn't specifically a Linux question, but I'll guess it
has some Linux relevance...
