More interesting was that with Sony's rootkit installed you can hide ANY
program on the system by naming it this way. So all a virus or trojan
writer has to do is name their files this way and every Windows user who
has listened to a Sony CD will be unable to get rid of the bastard
without special help.

Interesting fact:
the DRM can be bypassed simply by renaming your favourite ripping
program with "$sys$" at the start of the filename and ripping the CD
using this file, which is now undetectable even by the Sony DRM.
