Not everything is web-based. .NET and Mono is great for things like
desktop apps. Let's face it, C (or even C++) is a horrible language for
such things. Windows developers pretty much embraced C# the day it came
out, because it provided much better performance than Java and has many
other benefits. I think .NET is an excellent technology and Linux
developers would be foolish not to embrace it.

What do you think? Apparently it allows for much interoperability between
coding languages. Someone said that GTK+ bindings in mono are working in
all the languages.
I like seeing GNU on their pages, but I don't really like the .com and I'm
not sure about the .NET -- isn't that Microsoft?
Anyway, some people are telling me it's a good thing.
