There's like a 1 in 20 chance that would "take", but if it did...a 13
year old who could handle that would be *formidable* as a college
freshman down the line.
That's a good one to keep in mind. I think an early experience of success
will be important, so I think I'll shoot for something a little easier at
first because this one sounds like a gamble. I also think that he'll be
more ready for something like this after he's had algebra, which he will
be taking this coming school year.
I guess the whole book is done using the Scheme dialect of Lisp, which may
be a good thing, but it isn't very widely used, is it?
